What is this READY TO BRAKE version? "Ready to Brake" is a master cylinder developed by Accossato Racing, to supply street riders (and occasional track day riders) with a performance oriented brake master cylinder, that includes built in provisions to work with your stock rear brake light switch. Most racing oriented master cylinders do not allow for the activation of the rear brake light. This "Ready to Brake" version includes the built in wiring for splicing into your stock brake light switch. Now you can enjoy the same track level performance of a racing master cylinder, while keeping your bike street legal.
This brake master cylinder is quite possibly the best braking upgrade you can add to your bike. Accossato 19x17-18-19 PRS Radial Brake Master Cylinder is made in aluminum. The Piston diameter is 19mm: suitable for dual-disc front braking system. The PRS system allows for adjustable pivot points, so you can set the perfect brake feel. This is a far more useful adjustment than simply adjusting the distance between the lever and the controls. The pivot distance is easily adjustable between 17-18-19 mm. This is a great setup for track use, and high level street use, due to the range of adjustability. This brake master cylinder is fully Made in Italy; the screws are made of stainless steel, The bleeding valve is in zinc coated steel and the seals are made with a compound developed in Formula 1. Every component is designed to guarantee the shortest passive stroke, while increasing the functionality and feel of your front brake.
Bolt pitch for fitting your brake line banjo bolt is M10x1.
The 19 PRS front brake master cylinder is suggested for front dual-disc systems. 19 represents the 19mm piston diameter, 17-18-19 represents the adjustable piston to fulcrum distance (17, 18, or 19mm).
Note: A longer fulcrum distance (higher number) will increase the braking power, while reducing the brake lever modulation. A shorter fulcrum distance (lower number) offers better brake lever modulation, but has slightly reduced overall braking power.
Note: The brake fluid reservoir tank is not included with the master cylinder, you can purchase it separately, because several different options for fluid tanks are available.
Note: Designed to mount to standard 22mm handlebars or clipons.
