Sliders are designed to be resistant against impact and abrasion. Progressive impact inlay technology is designed to reduce the overall impact transferred to the motorcycle. This slider technology acts very similar to a shock absorber. This helps to reduce the impact force that is sent into your motorcycle, during a drop or crash.
