Motovation Fork Sliders (General) - Most fork slider kits use these instructions

These sliders have been designed to offer unsurpassed protection to your forks, wheels, calipers and rotors in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over. Riders around the world have tested our products on the street and track with outstanding results.

Typically a Motovation axle slider kit will include: (some models may vary slightly)

(2) Axle Slider Pucks

(1) Aluminum through axle rod

(2) Stainless Steel socket head bolts

INSTRUCTIONS:

Match up the bolts to the appropriate slider pucks based on bolt and puck length.

Install one of the slider pucks using the appropriate bolt into the axle slider rod.

Be sure to leave several bolt threads exposed, as you will tighten this up further when completing the installation. Blue Loctite is highly recommended.

Insert the rod with the slider puck attached into the axle opening.

Make sure the slider puck fits snugly into the axle. If it does not fit snugly, you may be inserting the rod into the wrong axle side. Typically one of the pucks fits inside the axle opening, the other puck fits snugly against, or inside the axle nut, or even over the axle nut on some models.

Install the second slider puck using the remaining bolt and tighten the bolts in unison until the slider pucks are snug and will not easily rotate. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
