Motovation FFSY04 Fork Slider Installation Instructions

***PLEASE NOTE: Motovation must insist that all protection parts and accessories are professionally installed to ensure proper fitment and maximum protection.***

These sliders have been designed to offer unsurpassed protection to your forks, wheels, calipers and rotors in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over. Riders around the world have tested our products on the street and track with outstanding results.

Includes:

(2) Axle Slider Pucks

(2) Stainless Steel socket head bolts

(1) Aluminum expander

(1) Threaded insert adapter

INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove the Yamaha fork axle retaining nut.

Install the supplied SS adapter nut onto the factory axle.

Tighten the SS Adapter onto the factory axle using a 24mm socket wrench and torque to NO MORE than 34 ft/lbs. Blue Loctite is highly recommended.

Attach the slider puck to the SS adapter with the SS screw. Blue Loctite is highly recommended.

Attach the other slider to the other side by inserting it into the recess and tighten the screw till the insert expands into the recess and starts to fit snugly.

Make sure that the slider fits snugly into the front axle.

Tighten screws till both sliders are snug in the axle and do not rotate easily. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
