LSL developed this drill jig to drill the positioning pin hole for the switch housings on 7/8" handlebars or clipons.
The jig is made from billet aluminum, anodized and has a hardened drill bushing. There is no easier way to drill the hole for the positioning pin of a handlebar switch housing. This handy tool clamps onto your bars, allowing you to drill a precision hole with exact placement, no wandering.
Uses 5.0mm (3/16") drill bit.
PERFECT for installing new handlebars on your motorcycle and drilling the perfect holes for remounting the stock controls. No more dremelling the tabs/nipples off your OEM controls. Also useful when running wires through your bars and dropping them out the bottom.
Note: Using the lowest amount of clamp force when tightening this tool onto your bars will prevent bar scratching. Some painted or anodized bars may benefit from using a thin layer of electrical tape between the tool and the bars.
