Strauss Street Version Tail Sliders are designed to fit perfectly onto the tail section corners. The placement is precise and designed to protect the exact area that is likely to get damaged in the event of a crash or drop.

These Strauss Carbon tail guards are made out of superlight and superstrong carbon fiber and DuPont™ Kevlar® layers. This design is proven to offer superior protection when compared to other carbon guards.

Paint protection is important to Strauss. The edges are smoothed out to help prevent any marks to your precious paintwork. This step is typically overlooked by other brands.

Application takes only minutes and could save your expensive tail fairing from catastrophic damage in the event of a drop. These protection slider pieces are highly recommended for the track and are also great for protecting your investment on the street.

Installation is simple with the included neutral cure silicone that is safe for paint finishes, while offering sturdy adhesion. 3M double sided automotive tape is also an option.

Note: The set includes 2 sliders for the tail section (left and right side).

Note: Some images are for reference and may vary slightly depending on your motorcycle make and model.

  • I was worried these would damage the paint when they are removed, but they do not. I remove mine sometimes to clean my bike. The guys at motovation told me to just use any neutral cure silicone when re-installing them. I have taken them off and put them back on 4 times now. No issues. I got an extra tube of silicone for like $6 at my hardware store. I also have the tank guards on my s1k and I think they look great.

Thanks Justin! Just making sure everyone knows that it MUST be neutral cure silicone (like the tube we include). The neutral cure does not use any harmful chemicals. As long as its neutral cure silicone, you can put them on and off all you want!
  • These look way better than the r&g ones i have had in the past.
