Arrow TwinExhaust Systems for Yamaha YZF 1000 R12009
A new serious exhaust for a serious bike. New engine ("Big Bang" as it was called in MotoGP) with 3 maps (standard, B to enjoy yourself and A for really crazy people.). The new R1 has changed completely.

The ignition sequence (due to the crank shaft design) allows for a smooth delivery of power. This user friendly power deliver gives the rider excellent control of the bike's HP, and torque.

After intense research Arrow has designed a range of excellent performance exhaust systems for the new R1. With respect to 2008 exhausts, the new ones were completely re-designed and now our silencers have the new-style carbon end-cap, specially designed for R1. Featuring impressive finish quality and performance. Increased hp and better throttle response from smoother and more uniform gas flow. Here is an overview of the products that are available for the new R1:

Street legal silencers(Homogolated with TUV certification and easily removed DBkillers):

• 71735PK (with titanium sleeve and carbon fibre end-cap) *
• 71735AO (with aluminum sleeve and stainless steel end-cap)*
• 71735MK (with carbon fiber sleeve and end-cap) *

Arrow silencers can fit onto stock catalytic headers, onto Arrow 1:2 mid-pipe for stock collector and onto Arrow headers;
1:2 central mid-pipe for stock headers:

• 71397MI (in stainless steel). This mid-pipe eliminates the stock catalyst and fits onto stock and Arrow silencers **
• Arrow 4:2:1:2 headers: 71398MI (in stainless steel) to fit onto Arrow silencers
• With 71735PK/MK silencers it's possible to use the stock Yamaha heat shields.

As always, Arrow has designed special products for the tuned bike.

• Competition Full System with carbon end-cap and Db-killer: 71079CKZ (stainless steel headers and titanium silencers with carbon end-cap and Db-killer) ***
• Competition full titanium full system: 71080CKZ with carbon fibre end-cap and Db-killer. ***

* Midpipe not included nor are they required for these slipons to work. They are however recommended for the best performance improvements.

** can be purchased and used independantly of Arrow slipons. Will fit stock headers and exhausts. The fastest, cheapest, and easiest way to get cooler running, improved power and sound without affecting the original looks of your bike. Let us know in your order comments if you wish to purchase just the midpipe and we will make the ncecessary adjustments to your total before we process your order.

*** Please note that if you order any of the Full Competition Systems you will already get the headers, mid-pipes AND the Titanium cans with the Carbon caps. You do not need to add a slip on to your cart unless you wish to subsitute them for a different type. We will then make the adjustments to the pricing before we process your order.
