These frame sliders protect the mid section of your Ducati Streetfighter's frame water pump and crank case during a slide. They are longer than the ones for the 1098 and the profile of the slider is different because of the relocation of the coolant return hose on the Streetfighter. This kit is specially made for the Ducati Streetfighter.

These frame sliders have been designed with a 12 mm stainless steel through-the-engine rod that is threaded at both ends. Stainless steel was chosen because it provides a better bearing surface due to the material's natural slickness that reduces engine to rod friction during engine running.

Additionally unlike other designs that provide a superstrong stainless steel mounting point for the sliders, our sliders feature aluminum inserts/collars in the sliders to provide the strongest frame to slider contact possible without compromising the shock absorbing qualities of the nylon. This new design also uses a grip nut on one side and a spring washer on the other to facilitate easier installations without compromising security.

Click here for more information about design and selection of frame sliders. The fit and finish is specific to the bikes that they are made for. Sliders are made from our our own UV inhibited nylon formulation that is more resistant to abrasion and will not fade or become brittle over time.

Comes with replacement nuts and stainless steel washers. A relatively easy install with minimal tools.
