Ducati 1198/1098 S/R/TriColore/Streetfighter- All Years

These axle sliders protect the swingarm wheel hub during a slide and are specially made for the Ducati 1098 S/R/Tricolore/Streetfighter. Mid year 2007 onwards bikes have a smaller rear axle. To ensure correct sizing, please measure the internal left side of your rear axle and if it is 40 mm, or larger (42 mm) and select the correct option before ordering. Most newer bikes including the yellow and black ones and the new Streetfighter have the smaller 40mm left axle ID.

Unlike other manufacturers that rely on standard internal diameters and an interference fit for many different bikes, Motovation is the first company to utilizes a through-the-axle stainless steel rod rod that the slider pucks are secured to with aircraft grade locknuts - the most secure way to mount sliders. The fit and finish is specific to the bike that they are made for. Pucks are made from our our own UV inhibited nylon formulation that is more resistant to abrasion and will not fade or become brittle over time and have internal aluminum bushings for added strength. Comes with CNC machined black anodized aluminum bushings that fit inside the axle for a perfect seamless look. Doubles up as spools for use with conventional rear stands.

This new and improved slider design actually lets them sit into the aluminum spacers for a seamless fit and for improved strength.Eliminating the gap found in older kits.
