These sliders have been designed to offer unsurpassed protection for your Honda 996 Superhawk in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over. Motovation frame sliders are designed and manufactured by a company that only makes frame sliders. Each and every model is tested for drop and slide protection. They are tough but not brittle and can also absorb a huge impact. Please read all instructions before beginning work! These frame sliders are designed to fit specific engine mounts of your Honda 996 Superhawk. This kit has separate left and right pieces (left and right while sitting on the bike). It is highly recommended that you refer to your service manual before performing this installation. ![]() ![]() INSTRUCTIONS: -Remove your bike's fairing. -Remove the frame bolts as indicated by the red arrows in the pics. -Install the sliders using the replacement bolts and washers as supplied with your slider kit. We recommend that you observe your manufacturer's torque specifications and some Loctite anti-vibration compound when installing the replacement bolts supplied with your sliders. -We recommend using a Dremel or similar type tool on your fairing to ensure proper fitment of the slider. Start with a small cut on the fairing and then expand the area till it just clears the installed slider. Repeat the process for the other side of the bike. -Re-install your fairing. Thank-you
