2004-05 Honda CB 919 900 Hornet Frame Slider Installation Instructions

Congratulations! You have just purchased the world’s finest frame sliders for the 2004-5 Honda CB 919 900 Hornet. These sliders have been designed to offer unsurpassed protection for your Honda CB 919 900 Hornet in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over. Please read all instructions before beginning work! These frame sliders are designed to fit specific engine mounts of your Honda CB 919 900 Hornet. This kit has separate left and right pieces (left and right while sitting on the bike). It is highly recommended that you refer to your service manual before performing this installation. If you are unsure about the tightening torque, check your motorcycle's manual or www.motovationusa.com/torque.html for a quick reference guide

Included in this kit:
1 x left side frame slider -longer
1 x right side frame slider -shorter
2 x locknuts and 4 x stainless steel washers
2 x 150mm 12.9 grade bolts

Tools Required:
8mm hex drive
17mm socket

INSTRUCTIONS:.
Perform this installation one side at a time and when the engine is cool.
Starting with the left side, remove the correct 10mm engine mount bolt (forward lower).
Insert a washer and bolt into the longer slider and insert it through the engine mount, from the left side of the bike.
Attach the supplied locknut and washer onto the bolt from the other side and tighten.
Repeat procedure with the shorter slider on the other side.
Do Not Over Tighten!
